Unless you are talking about the Greater LA Area.

Yeahhh that’s like the closest I get to understanding that, or when they’re from the OC but spend a LOT of time in LA. Still being in the greater LA area isn’t quite the same as being IN LA. I was wondering if people from Santa Clarita Valley which is aboutt the same distance ever say they’re from LA. The only exception being when you travel to some foreign country and they have no idea where the heck your city is. :P

But the OC has a different vibe than LA! Their center is technically Orange which admittedly is separate, in its own nice little way. Greater LA area yes, LA itself, not quite.
