Oh man, I lived for book orders. Nothing made my week like finding a flimsy piece of colorful newsprint on my desk.

I know I have the power to order any book that strikes my fancy from any company whenever I want and have them delivered to me at my desk if I so choose

But it’s just not the same

God dammit i had all the books from one series I got through these book sales. I can’t for the life of me remember what it was, other than it was a female protagonist who took mental pictures of clues and helped animals because her parents were veterinarians.

I was just always of the mind that you could just as easily go to a bookstore and buy books.

I LOVED these!!! This was how I got into SIMs: I accidentally ordered the SIMs Vacation one day and didn’t realize you needed the base game, ended up getting the best deluxe pack and was hooked. I have the Aztec version of that “Egyptian News” book but I think I always borrowed the Egyptian one from the library.
